Terms of Use
Welcome to Overhead. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.
The app
Overhead helps you know what's visible in your night sky — passes, phases, planets, and conditions. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.
Overhead Pro subscription
Some features — Live Activities, Home and Lock Screen widgets, and the Apple Watch app — require an Overhead Pro subscription. Pro is offered as a monthly plan and an annual plan; the annual plan may include an introductory free trial for eligible accounts. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you purchase.
Billing and renewal
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account and renew automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Accuracy
Overhead's predictions are estimates based on astronomical models, satellite data, and weather forecasts. The sky, the weather, and orbital data change — we can't guarantee that any event will be visible or occur exactly as shown. Use the app as a guide, not a guarantee.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app, and don't use it in any way that breaks the law or interferes with the service.
Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Apple's standard terms
Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement for licensed applications (the Apple "Licensed Application End User License Agreement"). Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Questions? Reach us at the support contact listed on the app's App Store page.
